Kendal Unitarian Chapel is in the centre of Kendal, at the gateway to the beautiful Lake District. Built in 1720, our chapel is one of Kendal’s most historic buildings. It was established as a home for religious liberty and tolerance and has embodied these values for the past three centuries.

Below is a short film commemorating the Chapel’s 300-year anniversary and the opening of its Multi-Faith Garden of Remembrance.

To Plant a Garden Is to Believe in Tomorrow

Following the collapse of the ceiling of the hall attached to our chapel, we are currently raising funds for repairs. To see how you can help go to our Fundraising page.
